Carl, you keep pushing the bar for instrumentals! As I have said many times you are a multi-talented musician. Also your production skills are second to none. Excellent work.
Back in my day the only time we started panic buying was when the bartender shouted "last call"!

AH, another Sunday morning gem from you, Carl. You make Sunday mornings very special, sir. Eyes closed so eyes they won't interfer with the magic entering my ears. Sweet sounds, my fiend. Soft, subtle, sweet sounds. Special Sunday Sensations, sir. Thanks again.

Honestly, I've listened to several tracks, including “Heavy Rain”, and it's very fine, very professional work! At times, I feel like I'm listening to a bossa-flavored international guitarist friend of mine. It's crystal-clear and precise, thank you for this wonderful listen.

Hey! that's Francis Goya. He's also Belgian like me, a little older. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_GoyaAn excellent guitarist, not only an instrumentalist but above all a musician. And musicality is far more intense than technical performance or virtuosity. It's a bit like the difference between an actress and a comedienne, or professor and a teacher. It's not the same register, and amplitude and passion are absent. I'm not going to philosophize about it, but it's obvious. Which is why, if I hear a song or any other work and have to give my humble opinion, I won't stop at the quality of the arrangements, the recording, the mixing or the vocal performance, for example. I'd much rather hear a voice that comes out of the whole body than out of the mouth! That's why I love your songs. What's more, they're technically well in place, which doesn't spoil anything!

Thank you once more Routou for your kind reply - I listened to Francis Goya briefly on YT, very romantic and a lovely player and sound! I am personally fond of 'sound' chords & melody rather than a million notes being played, so for this reason it seems that you & I share similar taste in music - I will explore Francis' music more to see what I can learn, in the meantime I'm very pleased you like what I've done so far! Many years ago I came across another unique nylon guitar player, Gilbert Medium - he's French and has lived in several countries, currently I believe he lives in Taiwan? You can hear his beautiful music here: https://www.youtube.com/@gilmeda
Best wishes, Carl

Another piece of excellence Carl. Very nice. Kept it interesting throughout. The drums sure surprised me. Just food for thought, I like it the way it sounds here, but I've heard other people complain that hearing someones fingers slide on the frets distracts them. I used to use "finger ease" when playing live to avoid that. I don't know if they even they make it anymore, but there is a lot of finger sliding that I can hear on this. Like I said, it doesn't bother me a bit. I've just heared that it bothers other folks sometimes. Great stuff my friend.

Brad - thanks a lot for your nice comment and for taking a listen! Regarding string squeaks - I would really like to get iZotope De-Noise which helps, but unfortunately I have fallen behind with iZotope (now N.I.), in order to get the latest version of RX11 I would have to upgrade a whole range of other software incl N.I. "Access". The prospect of possibly running into big computer problems has left me staying as I am, if anyone on the forum knows another effective 'guitar squeaks remover' I would be very grateful for help?
Best, Carl
