Links:I got a little bored with my usual BIAB style, so I decided to write something different, in a retro 80's Synth-Pop style. Not very sophisticated, even by my own (low) standards, but hey, it's fun and catchy. I figured this forum would be the _perfect_ audience for a Teen-Pop song  Enjoy my 2-chord epic and write something, I can take it  As always, a BIG thank you to Marty for listening to it and giving feedback. I hope you didn't suffer too much! B.D., very fun and catchy. Definitely captures a certain style of pop music. Like that it has a synth focus but is light and airy, and not a relentless wall of fuzz. The vocals are really nice, too. So...well done!

The melody & phrasing have a def. ABBA thing on top of the synth/dance party music.

When you say you did Drums - what does that mean?
This is really well done.
fj Catchy pop, just what I was after. Thanks Floyd I made the drums with an E-drum that I got almost for free a few weeks ago. I couldn't find any suitable Realdrums, so I beat the poor thing until it felt right and recorded the MIDI. Not being a real drummer, my dynamics were all over the place and have been tweaked here and there, but the groove is basically unchanged and better than anything I've found in BIAB (at least for this genre). What you hear is the standard NI Kontakt “Pop” drum kit fed by my MIDI data.

You know, Brain, You send me the song to check the lyrics, but I always get carried away with the song. You NEVER have anythng wrong in the lyrics, and actually craft them better than many of us who only have one language. There is one thing I can (facetiously) say that is wrong. The U doesn't mean You, except for the lazy folks; it means University. Surely the lazy will inherit the language and one day u will be right. I REALLY enjoy this song. So well crafted, recorded, mixed, mastered and then you come up with such a cool video. Wow what did you use to make you snyth a lip-syncer.
