Can you please add the Brazilian style called Choro and its variations such as Samba Choro and Choro Sambado. Choro is alive and well in Brazil and growing in this country. There are many musicians who would love to see this added back up rhythms and more.
Please provide links to audio examples of music of the Choro style and its Samba Choro and Choro Sambado variations. That will allow those of us not familiar with the music the opportunity to experience the music.
BIAB does have two Choro styles (at least in my version which has everything they make): a slow and a fast version. Both are MIDI-based from 2007. Go to your style picker and Filter by Choro. I get these: Whisper at 80bpm with an even sixteenth-note pulse, and Choro2 at 220 bpm with an even eighth-note pulse.

As a wind instrument player, I find Choro music difficult because there aren't a lot of places to breath! You generally find flute or clarinet playing the melody, but accordion and piano etc. might be better suited. Most music I hear has a smallish guitar added, either a cavaquinho or maybe ukulele.
In contemporary jazz, I know one musician who plays this music, the Dutchman Hendrik Meurkens. He plays vibes and harmonica.
I do not pretend to understand all of the Choro tradition but since I compose samba and Bossa Nova music, I can hear their origins in this genre.
