Imagine the feeling when you get to hear a new song by one of your favorite artists and it goes straight to the top of your playlist, warms your heart in a cold winter night and touches every cell in your body with well constructed lyrics and perfect melody. That's what happened with this song and it is difficult to describe why it is so good. The chorus and the bridge tell the feeling with such a great emotion. Your voice delivers that emotion straight from the heart. Great mix.

You used the right number of tracks. The right recipe for your backing tracks. Great lyrics. My favorite lines "And your phone number’s written on my arm/
Right underneath my sleeve." Heartfelt and genuine vocal. A good American song.

This sounds like Springsteen from his Nebraska album. A little more grit in your voice and it would be a dead ringer. Terrific lyrics and a good tune in general. Well done!
