Lyric by Jesus
Music by P. Glaser

Acoustic Guitar - #1815
Bouzouki - #202
Acoustic Bass - #776
Strings & Oboe - Done in GPO

High harmony - My daughter Stephanie

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be they name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
They will be done

On this earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day, our daily bread
Our daily bread

And forgive us
Our trespasses
As we forgive those
Who trespass against us

Our Father
Who art in heaven
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil

For thine is the kingdom and the power
Forever and ever
For thine is the glory forever
Amen

Our Father
Who art in heaven

Paul, this is quite lovely. NIce BiaB arrangement, and the harmonies and BGVs are very sweet. Very creative adaptation of a traditional text. Really enjoyed this! BTW, GPO = Garritan Personal Orchestra?

Hi, Paul.

It's not often you get to credit Jesus as your lyricist. laugh

Nice setting!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Paul, this is a super arrangement of a prayer.
Great vocal, fantastic harmonies.
I chuckled when I saw who the lyricist was grin
Fantastic rendition of the Lord's prayer.

OK, a random thought;
Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

HAHA. I love that --Lyric by Jesus. I remember when I was four I thought my dad made up that prayer. Vocal is right on, and the harmonnies really lift the song with added inspiration. Those string are arrnaged so well, too. Kinda wished you'd list the players, RTs and you. But I'd listen to this over and over again never knowing those answers. I'm staying on your SoundClick for more.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Very nice Paul. Great job with the vocals and I sure like the instrumentation. I know this has been tried in several different ways, but yours has got to rank up there with the best of 'em. I sure like the way you used those strings on the outro.

Paul...this is a beautiful rendering our Lord's model prayer...your arrangement and performance was so nice and very very appropriate for the lyrical content...the instrumentation was excellent...but the vocals were the shining star in this heavenly piece (pun intended)...you and Stephanie sounded perfect together and the harmonies were five star (nothing better than singing and recording with your kids!...I know)...really terrific all round!
