Something Different from Bob and Me

Bob came over last Sunday, 11/10/2024, and laid down a number of good guitar tracks. This is one of them.

BiaB style - Seducir MIDI Tango w/Accordion
I deleted the bass and guitar
Piano - EZKKeys - Grand - Roadhouse
Strings - Mum's Accordion
Drums - SSD-5 - Ragee

Bob is playing the acoustic guitar.
I am playing the bass, nylon string guitar, and via my breath and wind controllers both trumpet tracks.

Trumpet - Swam - Trumpet - Latin

FYI - for those whom may be interested in Studio One Pro 7 I made a tempo track and chord track based on Bob's track. I counted the number of measure and in BiaB put the C chord in every measure. Once I got a style that fit I brought it into Studio One Pro and had the BiaB tracks follow the chord track. Everything worked perfectly.

I arrived early to a restaurant.
The manager asks, "do you mind waiting a bit?"
I said no.
"Good", he said. "Take these drinks to table 3"

Mario,

Sounds great. Love the drums and rhythm. And the trumpets are very cool!

Thanks for outlining the Studio One Pro process - very interesting.

Shades of Revel! This sounds SO cool. Love the way you guys jam and THEN find a backing track. All of the man-made tracks sound great, but those trumpets are a real grabber. Super tune, Mario!

Different, and very cool! Love the trumpets!

The style the solo guitar guitar is playing reminded me of Jorma Kaukonen from Jefferson Airplane.

Good stuff Bob and Mario, enjoyed!

Ah, great music for the crowd entering the arena for a bull fight. Man, really good taste on all that you've added to Bob's compelling track, Mario. FYI-- I agree, everything worked out spendidly, and your determination and abilities are very clever.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thanx Bob. I find that method much easier and faster than using BiaB's ACW. YMMV

Thanx so much Ron. Like I have said many times I really like those Swam instruments.

Thanx Dave. I really like the sound of a nylon string guitar. Thanx so much for that Jorma Kaukonen comment.

Thanx Marty. Bob lays down some great acoustic guitar tracks. He also sings and play about a million cover songs also. I do have the determination and thanx for the abilities comment but you would change that if you heard everything I record, i.e. I only post what comes out OK wink

Cool stuff.
Nice guitar work from you both.
Cool horns. A south-of-the-border flavor.
Good mix.

Thanks for the info on how you put it together.
Very interesting.

Great performances by the two of you.
Love the acoustic and the horns.

Nice arrangement and mix.

Sounds like y'all were having fun as we did listening!

Thanx Floyd. I was going for a south-of-the-border type song so it looks like I did OK.

Hi Mario
Very original! Do you have Spanish blood in your veins? The brass also gives it that Spanish-Mexican feel. I really like it because it's got a great atmosphere.

Hi Mario & Bob,

I listened and then had a hard time wiping the smile off my face. This made me want to go visit Mexico again! Much different than most of your posts - but different in a very good way!

Alan

Thanx so much. No Spanish blood in my veins. I'm 100% American with mostly Italian heritage. I was going for a Mexican feel though.

Flamenco with Mexican horns, what a creative surprise! Great rhythm and the acoustic guitar, the piano and the trumpets laid around them are really tasteful. Your playing is excellent and the BIAB tracks support seamlessly. I enjoyed visiting new territories. I can imagine you dancing flamenco wearing sombreros laugh
