Hey guys...the last couple of months have made it near impossible to get down to my studio...in fact I've been reduced to my laptop in the bedroom for all internet work at all...so I haven't been able to record or revisit any songs...but to keep myself in the mix I'm going to post some of my favorites (not necessarily recorded with BiaB)...hope that's okay.

I rarely use samples but I bought some guitar samples from Steinberg a few years back...couldn't use most of them (too limited) but I found some acoustic guitar riffs I liked so I hooked a few of them together and came up with this little country/bluegrass/quartet number...so...if you do...thanks for listening...Dan

Solution: set up your studio in the bedroom!
Good track that already sounds good without BIAB so with BIAB it should be great! And the banjo? (I'm a banjo player...) The vocals are rather unusual for this style but you soon get used to them. At 2'30’ it's a very low sound... it sounds like a D2. On the whole, I like it a lot even if I have a preference for tracks with a short intro and a quicker entry into the heart of the matter, like when the track starts at 1'08’. That's great!
Btw, it's just my little opinion

Hi, Dan.

Sounds great! Love the vocals and harmonies, and the arrangement doesn't need anything else.

Really, not much else to say. smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

O Brother Dan, Where Art Thou?! Cool old timey song. Love this vocal arrangement. Agree that BiaB would snap right into what you have. Some great bluegrass in BiaB. THANKS for posting!

Dan,

A simple but very effective arrangement. Some good-time acoustic listening. As always, your vocal is pristine. Much enjoyed!!!

Hi Dan.
Great song and vocals.
I did think the acoustic sounded a little unclear.
Could be too much reverb or an eq thing. Not sure.
Maybe my ears though as nobody else has mentioned it.

Ha, you can do more with a laptop than most of us can do with super computers, Dan. Love this (guess that goes without saying, but I can't help saying it again). Well crafted vocals and I like the delay one of them insists upon. Seems to me you are home already, and yeah, I'd follow you anywhere. So lead on.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Dan, loved the vocal, harmonies, and lyrics.
You don't need to add anything to this one; it is perfect as is!
Loved it.

OK, a random thought;
Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

64 bit Win 10 Pro, the latest BiaB/RB, Roland Octa-Capture audio interface, a ton of software/hardware

Sounds great to me, Dan, track has everything it needs, and that vocal is about as good as it gets.

Loved it!

Great song Dan. I've always thought you had a gift for bluegrass sound, here's even more confirmation. That song is just a lot of fun and masterfully done!
