I'm not familiar with the app, but I do understand that it is a completely new design & build. I don't know if it's released yet. Others may know, but I couldn't find it on the App Store.

I can see it happening down the track as the JUCE Plugin now plays the tracks direct from data only. This could work on an iPad with the m4a RTs & RDs on the iPad's storage it could communicate with the back end on your home PC to generate the track data as a txt file rather than a rendered m4a sent over the internet it would be quicker.
Once the JUCE Plugin Standalone gets the generate code within it this can then be compiled for iPad.

The app (new design) does exist. As I understand it, it hasn’t really been announced and we can expect there will be more info coming.

Makes one wonder what niche it will fill?
IOS performance apps are available that have a significant head start over the current desktop BIAB app.

I want to be pleasantly surprised.
Really I do.

Despite my historical snarkiness on this product I can’t wait to give it a go.
I actually have a use case I’d like to try on it when it arrives.

Will we all get notice when it unveils?

If Logic Pro now runs on iPad with a chord track and instruments, it can all be done for Biab, users just need to give PG a bit more encouragement and ideas.

I'm new here so my apologies if I'm not asking this in the proper section. Does the iOS app allow me to transfer a BIAB desktop project to my iOS device? If so, can that project contain real tracks? Thanks for the help

As Matt said it is under development as we understand. I expect somewhere down the road they will release some information. I would also expect something that is far better than the old version which was super hard to use. I guess we just have to be patient and see what happens.
