Terrific vocal (as always, the star of the show), but also some first class lyrics on this one. The guitar sounded like you enlisted Carlos himself. A winner all the way around.

You are totally successful on the Santana vibe in band, write and even an early Santana vocal feel.
The Solo RT did a great job.
Ray’s bass smooth has a perfect fat tone and you wrapped it all in a fine mix.

Thanks folks for the kind words regarding my small part.
Deej sent me a draft and asked me to have a rattle.
I did a couple of tracks with different approaches & he edited me into something coherent.

The quality of music on this forum is outstanding, and this is a perfect example. Has definitely Santana vibe, but what else can you expect from Black Magic title  Still, very original and recognizable Deej tune. Your emotional voice, the groove via percussions and the solo guitarist together create that mystic grace I can't refuse. And when I finally paid attention to Ray's bass playing, there was just one word: WOW! Excellent lyrics which express the battle of the soul very effectively. Lovely lines like "leather and lace/lavender lips". People should listen to this all over again instead of those weary seasonal songs Janne
