HAHAHA. "sorry it's a solo piece" as if there is a human alive (or dead for that matter) who would ever complain about YOU doing solos. Another beautiful Sunday piece, Carl. I wonder if you play these like I listen to them --with eyes closed, mindlessly wandering through the feeling, enjoying every note. I'm so glad to share in your solo peace.

Marty - I'm so chuffed that you bother to listen to my tunes and comment on them
as positively as you do, you're right you may hear me taking 'rhythmic breaths' as
I try to play with feeling & expression - played exactly as you hear them with only minor
audio & midi edits. Not with eyes closed though as I have to keep a sharp eye on these old
fingers to make sure they respond to instructions (from an old brain).

One panned slightly L, the other slightly R to widen -
with volume envelope changes for expression,

David - many thanks for your super nice comments, in my younger days (now 76)
I spent a lot of time & effort trying to play millions of notes (blues/jazz). Now in old
age the brain & fingers are no longer as able, but in any case it seems more important
to 'make the notes & sound count'!!
