Error on the Side of Cool Error on the Side of Cool started out as a cool era jazz song, but now I think it is more smooth jazz. I'll let you decide what genre this should be placed. BiaB style = Cool - Smooth Jazz - Soulful Tempo = 80 BPM Bass - Ample Bass - J-Bass Piano - Lounge Lizard = Reed Based - 1 warm 1 Guitar - Soundprops - Jazz L4 Strings - Kontakt - Solid State Strings Drums - Steven Slate - SSD-5 Percussion - Kontakt - Brio Ensemble - congos Via my breath and keyboard controller I am playing the Swam trumpet and tenor sax. As always all comments are welcomed.

Lovely, lovely, peaceful evening song. I'm always impressed by your Swamming and both trumpet a sax are perfectly soothing in this.

Just after hearing Marty's take on smooth jazz, it is equally pleasant to hear Mario's view on that genre. And what a cool tune it is, I would call it "Rebirth of the cool". So enjoyable chord progression, simple yet playing all the right notes of the coolness. The beautiful melody fills the air with gently flowing snowflakes that melt on my tongue. The instrumentation is lush, heartwarming, full of soul (and jazz). Superb playing, really professional sounding. Pure gold, you have a Midas touch to instrumentals. Lovely error, please make more errors  Thanks for this early Christmas gift! Janne

WOW! It starts with a GREAT TITLE. I thought of Miles right away, and then pushed Play. Ha! Inspiring, Mario. I never care much for genre pigeonholes, and this one sits on its own however classified. So well compposed and so well played.

IUn my opinion, this is where contemporary smooth jazz will be for a while. You hit it squared on the head.
The percussion tracks are really sweet - especially that opening. Your talent is dripping all over this one. I always enjoy your work. very nice, indeed!

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
