Hey guys...this year has been tumultuous and challenging to say the least for me and my wife...her stroke took us by surprise and continues to challenge us daily...musically this year I ran into some vocal challenges that may have ended my recording days as vocalist...but in March I made my first attempt to use AI voices to try to keep my recording time alive...well I love it! I created an AI vocal band (Fresh Fire) and recorded two full albums of songs featuring the group teamed up with the great BiaB musicians...so I posted 40 songs this year (22 from Fresh Fire), revamped old ones and some brand new ones...about 2024 I can say as Dickens did, "it was the best of times: it was the worst of times".

My last song of the year is a Fresh Fire song...so ...if you do...thanks for listening and I pray for a healthy and prosperous New Year to all...thanks for all your kind words through out the year...Dan

Dan,

What a super way to close out the year! This is such a beautiful song! You've really got a great handle on using these synth voices! I must admit I sure do miss hearing your vocals and I can guarantee that I'm not the only one willing to express that sentiment!
This is such great worshipful song! Your work is such an inspiration to me and I really mean that!
May God bless you tremendously for the work you are sharing here!

Take care, TB

Great song and super synth vocals.
Great lyrics, super arrangement, and mix

I can relate with "it was the best of times: it was the worst of times" as my wife of 57 years is also having some health issues. You and your wife are in my prayers.

Hi Dan,

WOW! this is just so beautiful. The stringed instruments swaddle the wonderful vocal in the most beautiful and tender way.

A wonderful song presented with such delicacy and hope. Your talent is seemingly endless.

Here's hoping for a terrific 2025 - particularly that M'Len heals, as will your heart after such a traumatic event.

God bless,

Alan

Dan, definitely a strong closer for 2024. Beautiful, dynamic arrangement across the board, but most especially on the vocals. Love the fingerpicked guitar and the cello, and how the band cradles the vocalists throughout. Masterfully done.

No question in my mind that you've progressed your synth vocal skills in 2024 at a phenomenal rate. I miss your vocals, but your Fresh Fire work is always top shelf.

Wishing you both health and happiness in the New Year!

Love it, Dan!! Yeah, nothing could keep your creativity down. And, man, are you doing a great job with Fresh Fire. Those vocals are as good as ever. I may miss your vocal, but your ability to arrange harmonies so perfectly will always shine through.

Way to add the best new logs to that creative fire within you, and I like the direction you take your music. Always upward.

Enjoy whatever happens!

I'm going to do a mass thank you here to everyone who responded to Bridegroom...this last year has changed my life and routine and time management so much that it has become increasingly difficult to find time for music and fun and hobbies, etc...but please know that I value your comments and friendships so much so again my deepest thanks...Dan

Lovely work, expertly done in every regard. Loved the vocal harmonies. The simple instrumentation was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed my time with this song.

Great song and a delightful ending with your daughter added to the synth vocals

The excellent mix and nice mellow backing band so well supported the write and vocals.

Well done and we wish continued recovery for your wife!
Best to you both this year.
