Currently the only way to place a style that is playing on a chord chart onto the favorites list is to open the MP, find the style on the list, select it, right click and use the contextual menu to choose adding to the favorites list.
I would like an easier method by simply right clicking on the already loaded style on the chord sheet, and choosing "add to favorites list" on the contextual menu that already exists with this maneuver. It seems like an obvious item to add to this menu and would be a great convenience. The image shows the location of the current right click contextual menu that could include this "add to favorites" choice.
I believe that this is an excellent 'workflow' improvement.
+1 from me.

The S4 in your screen shot is shortcut from the Chordsheet to a window displaying Recently used Styles.
Type S4 in any measure (bar) regardless if there is a Chord populating the measure and enter
This opens the Recently Used Styles including the current Style loaded and it is placed first in the column. Select the Add Fav button from the Right Column and the highlighted Style is placed in your Favorites List. Selecting any other Recently Used Styles to place them in the Favorites List as well. These Lists hold up to the last 150 loaded styles. Lists can be saved and retrieved. Use the Radio Button to switch to the Favorite List View.
Type S5 in any measure (bar) regardless if there is a Chord populating the measure and enter
This opens the Favorites List directly from the Chord Sheet. Use the radio buttons to switch between Favorites and Recently Used
Whoa, quite tricky! Certainly a workable technique and thanks so much for demonstrating this feature with the helpful screen shots. I will use that, but I still do think that adding the option to the right click drop down menu would still be much simpler, faster and direct and would love to see PG institute that. (By the way that is not any type of criticism of your answer for which I am VERY grateful!)

Glad you found it useful. I use shortcuts a lot but understand lots of folk don't care for them. There's some new ones for 2025 Typing RT in a measure opens the MultiPicker with RealTracks in focus. Typing stems in a measure opens the new Stems Splitter and the old shortcut S now opens the StylePicker with Styles in focus by default.
+1 support for right clicking on the already loaded style on the chord sheet, and choosing "add to favorites list" on the contextual menu that already exists.
Adding the Current Style to Favorites by selecting from the Style context menu is far more logical than typing a shortcut into a Chord Cell to bring up a dialog to then achieve that.
The Chord display is certainly not tightly associated with the Style. The chord cell is where you add chords, not styles.
I still support the O/P's suggestion that this would be a workflow improvement if the styles could be added to favorites from the style display itself. The request is for an 'easier way to put a style on the favorites list'. The other method shown above is just another way to achieve the same thing, but it is not necessarily 'easier'.

As an add-on to my earlier support of this suggestion, there maybe an easy way for PG Music to implement the suggestion.
If they use "Save to Favorites - S4 Enter" the Recently Played Styles window opens with the Recently Played radio button selected. The name of the current style resides at the top of the list and is highlighted. The one additional step is for the user to select the "Add Fav" button.
Notice in the second screen shot below the down arrow just to the left of the style name. Pressing the down arrow button opens the pop up menu displayed. S4 is labeled as "Open Recently Used Styles".
