This is another co-write with my wife, Kathy, who is much better at coming up with song ideas than me! Also available on RevebNation for those that find video distracting: Summer Days The Band:RealTracks in song: 1770:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm JazzFunkMovinChords Ev16 130 RealTracks in song: 4308:Organ, Rhythm FastBoogie Sw 190 RealDrums in song:SalsaChaCha^1-a:Congas, b:Timbal I used EZDrummer3 to build the drum track. I'm playing the lead guitar and the rhythm guitar (arps) during the chorus. Marty Straub from BabuMusic is on the bass. He used his 1962 Gibson EB2 bass for this one, different sound than the Fender he normally uses. Mixed in Reaper with plugins from Waves and iZotope, mastered with Ozone 11. Dave!! Wow. You know I love this song, and the way you do it. Glad you raised a couple steps, too, What will go unrecognized is how absoluetly blown away I was when I sent you that "test" track. Yep, that EB2 has a difficult sound to record and mix properly, but how you managed to seamlessly remove all those unwanted extra notes is mind blowing. Yeah, Kathy is so good with words. And another thing most folks here may not know about Kathy is what a sensational writer she is. I highly encourage anyone who can read to get one of these: Daughters Of Ireland

Dave, you are a fantastic guitarist and singer.
You and Kathy are super lyricists.
Marty is a fantastic bassists.
Put them all together and you get an outstanding song like this one.

Cool Breezy song, nicely mixed and produced. Good work on the video. One recommendation, you may wish to remove the organ in the verses and add it back on the choruses to give the listener's ear a indication of a uplift and change. Other than that Good Work on this one!!!

Killer guitar as always, Dave! Good song, like Andi, it makes me pine for that weather. I'm not gonna complain though while the SoCal folks have it so bad. Good work all the way around, but that guitar is the star!

We love the video (great clips)and it makes us want to plan a trip to the beach (especially with our current weather situation)  Good lyric by you and Kathy. You guys ROCK! Super tune and nice backing to jam to. Nicely done vocals and bass. The lead guitar REALLY shines on this one, and I love the way it growls and slithers through the changes. Superb!

Your lead guitar is a magical delight that seems to propel forward any song you play on. Good vocal! I particularly like where you go with the melody on the section that starts "Memories remain..." Kudos to Marty for the grooving bass line.
