The rhythm guitar part is different during the choruses to make it stand out more, but removing the organ from the verses might work even better. If I decide to do more with this song I'll certainly give that a try.

Hey Dave,

This sounds really great man! You and your wife did a super job with the lyrics and a song construction.

The guitar parts as usual are splendid.

What a nice summery song for a cold Winter day! I can feel the gentle breeze in the Latin rhythm and the smooth organ sound. Pleasant soft sound also in Marty's bass. Dave's guitar riffs ascend those birds in my view. Enjoyable vocals are the warming sun's touches. Positive lyrics flow nicely along the melody. Great work with the effective drums. I like the sharp ending requesting to listen to the song and get the feel of Summer once more.

1st off...C'MON MARTY SHOW ME THAT BASS - a 62 EB - wowowowowowo.
Excellent song and ace delivery gents.
Dave - a warm guitar player vocal delivery, (reference point 461 era Clapton), excellent arps & stinging leads.
Marty -oh, yeah serving the song & being strong.
Nice mix too & a good ending.

Cheers

Good lyric by you and Kathy.

Excellent BiaB session folks and the EZDrummer3 was popping (in the good way).

We feel a lot of Santana vibes in this one - a good thing in our book.
You and Marty always deliver excellent performances.

Enjoyed it!

I was definitely shooting for a Santana vibe on this one, so, thanks!

Because of the fast tempo I needed an extra long guitar solo or the song would have been even shorter wink

Thanks as always, Floyd, I appreciate you.

The working title for this song before I had lyrics was "Santana Thing" wink I'm a big fan of his early work.

Thanks to everyone who mentioned my meager, albeit enthusiastic contribution to this Summer reminder. Stay warm. Dave & Kathy, are you guys writing one about Winter Blues for the summer yet?

Enjoy whatever happens!

Lucky you, my wife doesn't even listen to my songs....
Anyway, you two wrote a pretty good song about how it feels when it's December and you remember the warmer days - resonates with me. A lot!
Great groove (hi Marty), and man, that guitar solo of yours....
Ace!

Dave,

What an awesome production!!!
You are definitely one of the forum's masters smile
In this creation, you have taken musical arranging and audio presentation into the stratosphere.
Kathy's song-idea works big-time.
Marty's bass is also super impressive.
And your guitar solos... they were mesmerising!
The phrase, "Top notch," appeared in my head a few times as I listened.
