Hi, this is my latest, inspired by one of my favorite jazz composers that I almost forgot, Dave Grusin. I tried to resemble his vibe which is almost impossible to do. Comments welcomed as usual. Enjoy! Oh, man. I listened to Dave Grusin a lot in the 80s and you fine composition urges me to dig him out and dig him again. This is such a good tune, so well written, and filed with such extraordinary musicianship. So well done!!

Thank you, guys. Appreciate your comments. I was watching a movie that had a Dave Grusin theme throughout, and then remembered how much I liked his music, so I thought to make something to resembles his music. I'm glad you all liked it.

There is certainly a lot to like about this composition. Excellent intro, great balance, great funky feel throughout.

I love that intro. Nice use of different solos thereafter in the mix.

Very nice ride…listening here at 7.30 this morning while gazing out my window at a nature scene…esp enjoyed the definite shift in feel between the sections, as well as the little touches at the beginning and end, just to give it a nice, polished, feel. Like a lesson in arranging and BIAB use…glad I stopped by.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
