Со временем у меня библиотека C:/bb/RealTracks переполнилась. Ноутбук тормозит.
Как удалить ненужные старые RealTracks? Просто выделением и нажатием Delete не получается

Having a large RealTracks folder would not be the cause of your computer being slow, unless you mean that your C: drive is extremely low space. I don't know how big your hard drive is and which Band-in-a-Box package you have, but if you have a recent "UltraPAK" package, your bb folder could be around 180 GB with the RealTracks folder taking about about 140GB of that.

Also, when you say you are clicking and pressing delete, I'm not sure exactly what you are doing. Are you trying to do this within Band-in-a-Box, or in Windows Explorer? You should be able to delete any folder you want in Windows Explorer... (though I'm not saying you should do this).

It is not generally a good idea to try to delete individual RealTracks. A much better solution is to copy your entire bb folder to an external USB hard drive and run Band-in-a-Box from there. Or, you can ONLY copy the RealTracks folder and select a custom RealTracks location in the RealTracks Preferences within Band-in-a-Box.

If you really don't have the option of using an external hard drive, and you really want to remove files from your RealTracks folder, a couple of suggestions:

- If you aren't using the DI (Direct Input) versions of RealTracks, remove some or all folders from the "Direct Input" folder. This won't cause any problems, other than not being able to use the DI versions of RealTracks that have them (mostly Electric Guitars).

- If you know that there is an instrument that you will NEVER use, you could delete those folders. For example, you could delete all "Accordions". But you ALSO should delete all of the RAC*.st2 and RAC*.xt2 files from the bb\Soloists folder, otherwise those RealTracks will be partially present and have errors in the RealTracks Picker. The problem with this, is that there are various styles (.STY files) that may reference those RealTracks even if it's not the genre you would expect, so those styles will now have N/A tracks.

I have BIAB 2021 on notebook with disk C - 446 GB(199 GB free) and folder bb - 35,1GB with RealTraks-21,1Gb.

It was not correct sayng the notebook is too slow, but a control in BIAB is too laboring. There is an external hard drive 500 Gb also. Now I am installing part of new RealTracks there.
I accept your preposal to delete the instruments never be used (realy the removal in Windows Explore is avalable!)
As to bb/soloist/ There are files RACG and RACRD (in case of removal accordeon files). Which of them schould be removed?
