Hi Marty. You two are the blues in twos. The line: "I play until my fingers start to swell". Reminds me of the time when I was playing bass guitar in a band and lost my pick (I always played with one) and had to play with my thumb. After an hour or so I noticed blood was dripping onto the stage from my sore thumb.  Sounds great by the way. Vic

And that tone. Ya sprinkled some magic on that somehow. Near perfect (on the assumption "perfection" is never found).

Seems you went way beyond swelling that night. I pretty much only use my index finger and occasionally add the thumb. Guitar player friend once used Gorrilla Snot or something. That is a clever lyric and a sentiment we much agree with. That’s some passionate/soulful singing and playing by you and Dave! The smoke all around the guitarist in the vid during Dave’s smoking solo was great. No need to parse this any more. Simply stated it is an excellent blues tune. And, no surprise, we love it! So I can really understand the lyrics.
Dave's guitar and your vocals are in perfect sync.
The chord progression is a little different from the usual blues chord progression, but I really feel the blues in this song.
