Definitely Zappa-esque! Weird instrumentation, lots of twists, demented imagery—I sometimes wish that I could slip into that kind of bizarre world! Behind that, I was very impressed with the general creativity and use of the BIAB tools. Great work!

Oh, man. I clicked in here late --the first thing I saw was Tom (Tano's) comment about Zappa. Scott, this is magically good. Outstanding. Love your decline into zanniness. Man, this is the very type of song that I'd wear out on a Zappa album. Let's see... what does she mix with PB other than J? Dude, no other voice could do this as amazing well as you've done. What a fun song.

I was once invited to a peanut butter mixer --we jammed.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Scott.

WOW!!!
I would never, in a million years, have discovered that BIAB + MIDI can do what I've just head in your song.
This is amazing music and a really outstanding production.
Everything first so, so well together.
Your performances are first-class and your writing is immensely creative.
This is "top notch music creating" at its very, very best.
Amazing music!

Good one Scott,
part garage & part pop psych - with a dose of whimsy.
I loved the aggressive bass in the 1st verse particularly.

Cheers

Speechless! We listened a couple of times and then read through the reviews.
After that and reading Izzy's review again what can one say?
It seems like a cheap shot to say we agree with all the above but, man, in this case is it ever applicable.
A friend of Bud's once played bass with Zappa so he's versed there and completely agrees with the comparisons.
Janice said, I can’t stop smiling at this:
“Caterpillar eyes
Liposuction thighs” smile
Getting everything to fit so nicely on that soundstage is amazing.
The thought and time that went into this is head spinning for us.

Great! You set the piano on fire and exited the stage. smile

Dave, thank you. I didn't want the song to get too repetitive, hence the change at 3:15 (plus it gave me a chance to add some more silliness).

Scott,
I have to admit that I have no clue what your song is about, but I really enjoyed listening to it, it's sooooo cool.
To me (as a well-known non-expert on older stuff) it sounds like a Zappa/Bowie lovechild.
And your vocals are brilliant.
More of that please!
Pretty, pretty, pretty please!

Thanks, J&B. I must admit I never really listened to Frank Zappa; however, my older brother played his records nonstop. I can still hear "Dynah-Moe Humm..." in my head.
