Is the ACW feature of PowerTracks Pro Audio any different than the ACW included in the BiaB or Real Band programs in terms of accuracy and worth the money?
The PowerTracks Pro Audio advertisement states that "The Audio Chord Wizard, which automatically and accurately figures out the chords from MP3/WMA/WAV audio files...." In my experience the ACW in Real Band or BiaB is a journeyman version of AI generated stem splitter and chord generator in terms of accuracy. It takes a lot of effort, know-how, and talent to get the chords timing alignment correct. I find Moises to be closer to the the truth and have heard that other options also do a good job with minimal user input.
What is your take?
I assume that because it is being sold as a separate package it must/should offer upgraded capabilities.

RealBand is derived from PowerTracks Pro. An analogy would be most of PowerTracks Pro's features along with the addition of a few Band-in-a-Box features. RealBand's Audio Chord Wizard (ACW) is different than the ACW in Band-in-a-Box. So my assumption is RealBand's and PowerTrack Pro's ACW are the same.
PowerTracks Pro existed as a standalone product before RealBand existed. The program was created and developed by an outside developer but sold by PG Music. The developer eventually joined PG Music and continued to update PowerTracks Pro. So PG Music continues to sell the product.

Thanks Jim, learning a lot.
PG will do itself a great favor if they can figure out a way to merge BiaB and RB into a single GUI and improve its ACW tool(s). Maybe sell individual components as stand alone units for those with very specific needs. The existing ACW tutorial videos make it look like an accurate and automated process but in my (limited) experience I find that to be far from the truth.
Maybe I missed something or there is some little known trick that simplifies and improves results. I will keep looking at the manuals and tutorials to see if there is something I missed.
