One of your best, without a shadow of a doubt.
LOVE that guitar ... perfect for this song. Your voice is its usual superlative self ... what more is there to say? This song, alike so many of yours, takes me on a journey - but this is a different journey to many of the others. A journey of memory.
As for you, you're a musical genius. I can't say any less than that, especially after THIS song.

Another wonderful poem
The piano and guitar opening is so good for setting the mood.
Love this: “The moonlight rushes through a hole in the sky”
Not only is the imagery vivid but we can feel the same longing for the missing person.
Often your rich imagery reminds us of some of the singer songwriters that Bob Dylan mentions in his book Chronicles.
Your vocals and the session guys are great. So emotive.
That is a remarkable display of RT's ... all of them.
And all is wrapped in an excellent mix. Thanks for including the processing details.
The soundstage on our Kalis is standout. EVERYTHING has its nice place.

The instrumentation so expertly matches the mood of the melody and lyrics.
