Hey guys...haven't posted a song for awhile...I've been honing my skills at working with AI voices and instrumentation...I've produced four new AI albums of my songs in the last month...this song is one I've posted before with me singing it but now I'm letting one of my new bands do it...I call this trio "The Guys"...three tenor voices with unlimited range and never sing flat are all I need to have fun...the song is a take on the account of David and Goliath...so if you do...thanks for listening...Dan

Dan,

I have just a few minutes here on the forums tonight. I saw you'd posted a new song and decided to give those few minutes to your song.

This is so good! Those AI voices sound so realistic. Your work and familiarization with them have certainly paid off. First, it's a terrific song you gave them to work with. The vocals are very impressive. The little nuances you gave them make them shine - almost human quality. The harmony in the choruses is such a comfortable listen. In places, it reminded me a bit of the Galtin brothers, minus a few super-high notes here and there that Larry is noted for.

Great song, great arrangement, great presentation. I thoroughly enjoyed your work on this.

Wishing you and M'Ley everything good. I sincerely hope she continues to recover.

God Bless,

Alan

Excellent song, Dan, love the lyrics! And those vocals are something else! Good beyond good.

Track sounds great also, good instrumentation and mix, and the echo at the end was a nice touch.

Enjoyed!

Dan, super job! Beautiful song and nicely nuanced vocals. The ending with the acoustic soloist and the fade vocal is especially nice. Super arrangement and mix.

Am sure your experience in "real" vocal ensembles gives you a huge advantage in programming these vocals. They sound quite detailed and simply superb.

That being said, your "real" vocals and the songs with other "real" vocalists you've posted here have never been less than pro level. And I don't recall a single flat note, or anything else out of place. New participants in this forum should revisit some of your older posts, they are special.

Dan,

Great song and amazing overall production.

You are getting some of the very best performances out of these voices. Wonderful mix as well.

Haven't posted in awhile? Man, I've been listening to a lot of your stuff lately, Dan, and each one lifts my admiration for your ability --which was already over-the-top. Love all four of your new groups, but The Guys hold a very special place in my heart that I'll cherish forever. I think of the confrontation these two had more like Davey & Gumby. It's Saul about timing. All of your songs help us all slay that dragon in the valley, and this one is the perfect amunition for our slingshots (or bras depending on your interpretation smile ).

Enjoy whatever happens!

Dan,

Outstanding work on this. I agree with Al that the vocaloids are absolutely terrific. As realistic as I think they can get and almost impossible to distinguish from a live singer. You've become quite skilled in this regard. Pretty song, wonderfully put together. Excellent!!

Hi Dan
Incredibly good song
You already have your AI voices very well under control ;-)
I have no idea how it works exactly, but I have one question:
Does it take longer to provide the song with the AI voice or if you sing it yourself ?
Great work Dan
Andi ;-)

Alan...thanks for dedicating your listening time to me...I appreciate it...if you think this sounds like Larry Gatlin listen to the next song (Jesus Lord)...the first couple of lines sounds just like Larry! M'Len's making a slow recovery Praise God! Thanks again...Dan

Thanks so much Ron...you are very gracious about the older recordings...I'm going to try to convert some of them to AI voices (the ones I think I didn't do well)...to me it's the music and not the singer that matters and the message matters more than the music...thanks again...Dan

You slay me man (not like David did Goliath) but you know what I mean...yeah...I'm loving me those Guys...they sing like I wish I could...I'm thrilled that you like the stuff being produced right now! Dan

Deej...thanks so much...I have started using the AI voices from Suno...there is less control over them because they are "intelligent" and are not manipulated so easily but their "choices" are so much more intuitive and human than trying to program everything myself like I did with Fresh Fire's voices...these voices sing with passion and emotion and I've not been disappointed in any of their choices yet.

Thanks Andi...I have no idea how it works either...but I don't care as long as they help me interpret and record the music better...that's my goal...if you program each word, phrase, melody and timing it takes much much longer to do that than to just sing it...but my voice is failing me now (I'm 73) and if I want to keep writing and recording this is my best option...I I'm not done yet!! Thanks again Andi....Dan

Dan, you have mastered those synth voices. They sound like real singers.
The time you took to master them has definitely paid off.
Great production.
Super lyrics and mix.

Ps - instead of the three tenors we have the three AIs!

Laurent thanks for your comments...yeah it's very realistic thus very frightening what could be done with this technology...but as a non vocalist at this point it's more than helpful.

Great song and construction, plus you've done an excellent job with the vocals as they don't sound like AI to me.

It’s a beautiful production and those SUNO AI guys do present your message well.
We know this technology must help to assuage your disappointment with your vocal issues.

Excellent write and the nice open mix sounds great on our monitors.

Well done! And best to you both.

AI is changing music in the same way the the Walkman, the mp3, and streaming services did.

You are grabbing it by the proverbial horns and molding it into submission.

That was really well done.
