I started using AI about a year ago as well as synth voices.... It's pretty amazing what it can do.

I agree with you on the tempo of Suno and other AI.... it's really bad and takes a lot of work on both the front end as well as in the final mix to get things to line up. Even using ACW is a chore. Aside from the variation in the tempo, it often uses a decimal point like 92.4 bpm.... I mean really? You might want to look into Synth V as well. It is a synth and if you take your time and use a couple of tricks, it will sound so close to a human it's creepy. The Suno voices still tend to have that artificial artifact haze around them in places. I often convert mine to Synth V. And another thing, the key. Suno likes to play in "strange" keys like those flat keys. I can play in those keys too, but it's really not convenient.

Like you and what you did here, I find it's difficult to add BB real tracks that fit well with the style and often I only use one or two (as you did here) as fillers.

I liked this song. the production is good. Good job on the write. Keep on using these new tools. Some folks are adamantly against AI but I think it's a huge game changer and will be very useful going forward.

Good to see you back.
Thanks Herb

My point was that the AI vocals don't have emotial connection with the lyrics. The seacret of country songs is a true story sang so, that listeners can believe in it. It may take a while, before AI is thought to match the emotions of the lyrics with the expression in vocals

Hey Tom,

Great to have you back on the forum! Loved the song. Sounds like very commercial country music. And I mean that in a good way. Translation: Marketable.

Sorry to hear about your thumb. Man, that sucks!

Keep writing and posting. I'll be here to listen.

Alan

Tom - I call it 'Telecaster Music', fantastic track.
Extremely polished and powerful mix & production -
as another guitar nut I feel for you regarding your
torn ligament, I'm a retired Osteopath and would
suggest that over time you might speed up recovery
with regular fairly deep massage using the other hand/
thumb - give it a try although it may be painful at first?
Great Tele playing,

Carl

If you try to make your living with your music, you have to play what people are willing to pay for.

Tommy.
I didn't realise these were AI vocals until I read your intro.
Great mix and lyric.

An excellent song in every regard, very professionally produced, and the vocals are really good.
I can still hear some artifacts, but they don't bother me much.
Well done!

This was so pro sounding, I'm very impressed. Great lyrics. The prosody of the synth singer was off at times for me. I'm sure if you sang it, that problem wouldn't have existed. Otherwise, super effort!

Hi Tom.

This is brilliant.
Honestly, I would never have picked that this is an AI singer.
It sounds like a professional country singer to me.
In fact, everything about this production sounds professional.
It's a first-class music experience.
As always, your writing is superb.
I love your lyrics.
What really captured my imagination was the power in the words, "long lost dreams and broken hearts left on blue highways".
They really made me think and reflect on my own life's journey.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening.
