James,

A very brooding and contemplative piece...

Love the way you have used the flute here. Beautiful mix.

As always, nicely done.

James, very nice mood..loved how you handled the RT components..understated and mood-maintaining. The flute—how hard this is to handle via midi..I’m never satisfied with the digital sound output, but you used it well..enjoyed my early-morning listen.

Nice instrumentation in this. Like Mario's "A Simple Coubtry Waltz" I can imagine vocals worling well with it.

James,

Such a lovely 3/4 waltz! That flute just sings its message so poignantly The acoustic guitar was a nice change of pace.

A simple, yet full, presentation. Very nice job in creation and presentation.

Thanks for another great listen!

Thank you so much, everyone. This was, to my mind at least, just a "place filler", until I write something "better" (may be a long wait! haha ...), but ... I'm really happy you all enjoyed it. Thanks so much, each and every one of you, for your kind comments! smile

James, this was terrific. It reminded me of Dark Waltz, are you familiar with that? Great job, bud.

That flute melody is very cool.
I was half hoping for a vocal but the flute takes away the need.
A sweet thing.

I have a weakness for waltzes.
Simple, relaxed, and the flute motif is beautiful.
Enjoyed my listen.

Well, I knew it wasn't gonna make me sad because it's a James Delsono original. Man, there are some cool changes. I like 3s and 6s and this waltz is just perfect. Love how it starts with the guitar and its hote-bending intro. But that flute steals the show with such a beautiful melody. I couldn't find the credit for it. Are you playing it? I know your talents are greater than we know. I get the idea for the comments that it's MIDI, but still yuou mastered it so well with the perfect melody. Keep that pipeline filled with more of what you do, James.

Enjoy whatever happens!

This is a lovely waltz and the flute provided feelings of happiness as well as sadness.
The excellent band supports the whole contemplative vibe very well.

And you presented it in a very nice mix ... sounds open and airy, like we love, on the monitors.

Enjoyed it!
