IF TODAY (Was My Last Day)

During that time I asked myself this question: "If today was my last day, what would I do?" This song shares those thoughts. It turned out to be a love song to my wife, family and friends. I am singing, and playing guitars, bass, midi strings, woodwinds. BIAB did the rest. Elliott, every day is indeed a gift. Beautiful song! Professional arrangement and instrumentation, as always. SUPER vocals, though there are some phasing-like artifacts in the harmonized chorus lines that aren't as musical (to my ears) as the rest of the tune. Super playing, too, although by "BiaB did the rest" I'm guessing you mean there wasn't anything left for BiaB to do after you nailed all the instruments. Nothing wrong with that though. Nicely done!!

This is simply beautiful in all respects. I think this is my favorite vocal by you, and probably my favorite song.
I'm a 12-year cancer survivor (doing good) and my wife has had two heart attacks in the past 5 months. So, we can appreciate the essence of this wonderfully produced song. We're both here to listen to it!

What a touching song that speaks to me! Love the strong positivity vibe despite the sad subject. Great handling of the subject, your personal experience truly shines through in every word you sing from your heart. The simple arrangement gives room for the message and the strings & choir add the final tear-jerking touch.

The guitar-based accompaniment is wonderful.
The vocals and backing chorus are also excellent.
