Hey Tom,
Good to see you back, it's been way too long!
Great track, good write, and totally pro mix. Nice hearing your tele in the mix too during the outro, you are such a tasteful player.
Vocal sounds awesome too, but to be honest, I would prefer to hear you. But I get where you are coming from.

Hi Tom. What an outstanding listen. You've really conquered those AI vocals. I would never have known that this wasn't a real singer if you hadn't mentioned it. It's a great write and first-class production. --Noel P.S. I don't know if this will help with ACW or not, but I wrote a tutorial in 2024 on how I use ACW because many people were finding the post-2018 version a challenge to tame. The link below will take you to what I wrote. https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=821394#Post821394Thank you Noel . I appreciate your kindness. The ACW continues to give me fits. Your tutorial was very informative and well written. One of several problems I am having is the chord chart that comes up is way off. I do much better starting at zero and putting it in by ear. I will continue to try and tame the beast but I will also look at other outside tools. Thanks again. Tom, an outstanding country rock. Great chops man. I was totally surprised that those vocal were synth vocals, they sounded so real that they should be a commercial for that company. Loved it. Thank you Mario.

Sounded terrific! I didn't know Synth V had a country voice. Song and lyrics were great, too. I was going to try Synth V, but your notes on how hard it is to use might have scared me away. Is it harder to use than BIAB? That's about as techy as I'm getting at this late point in my life. Let me know.

I didn't know Synth V had a country voice. Song and lyrics were great, too. I was going to try Synth V, but your notes on how hard it is to use might have scared me away. Is it harder to use than BIAB? That's about as techy as I'm getting at this late point in my life. Let me know. The vocal was from Suno. The problems associated with all this is in cleaning up the artifacts from the AI. Also the most time consuming thing is lining up BIAB with the voice in the Daw. It does require a little bit of patience. I am enjoying my journey through the process and am quite surprised at number of comments from people who are not ready to embrace the new technology. I was the same way. I have become tired of fighting my aging voice and am deep into this experiment. Thanks for the nice comments.

As always your production is top of the bar and your tele solo is killer. Great BiaB session guys you called in. It seems like you’re making rapid progress with the learning curve for SUNO vocals and these guys sound like they’ve had plenty of hits. Makes our heads spin to even think about that deep of a dive! You mention the necessity of cleaning up all the vocal artifacts ... but we assume there is no way to strip the fx from it? I recall reading a while back about a reverb stripper or something of that notion. Great lyric and this immediately got our attention: “I wish the way it is now was like it used to be” Enjoyed it! J&B PS You know that we are like the other old timers here who hope to hear your voice again too. Last time for such a PS … promise Really.
Our albums and singles are on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Pandora and more. If interested search on Janice Merritt. Thanks! Our Videos are here on our website.

J&B PS You know that we are like the other old timers here who hope to hear your voice again too. Last time for such a PS … promise Really. Hey thanks! I am doing everything on a laptop so I can take it on the road with me. The AI vocals may be better than howling at the moon in a campsite. Although I've done that before. I will be returning at some point to singing. ( I'm hearing it from the wife as well) Right now I'm dug in pretty deep on this and am getting better results every day. You're right about the reverb removal tools. I haven't found one to my liking yet but I will. It's all part of the process. Everyone who says using a machine to create music is a bad thing is dead wrong. Isn't it just like using Biab??? I'm still against using any AI generated lyrics. So I believe the creative process is still alive and well especially when adding live instruments. I'm reading the Buddy Emmons biography and got the steel in the woodshed. Stay tuned. Thanks again for all your support through the years. Stay well.

This is a really good rocking country song.
Everything is fit together nicely.
I was really hoping you'd come back into the chorus after that very well done solo to bring it all back home.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

Herb, thanks for the nice comments and you are right about the last chorus unfortunately I don’t think of it. Stay well.

I admit that I am not used to this style of music but when you hear the whole thing: accompaniment, singing and guitar, I tell myself that it is professional work. Finally I will maybe start country rock but I will certainly not have your level. laurent

Not my favourite music, but well sang and played and produced. This could have been a hit in the 1970-80s.

This is simply professional sounding and could come straight from todays radio. Loved the vox, guitar work, chords and lyrics. IMO, you have a hit on your hands.
