I really like this song and production - ditto the AI video - but I can't think of anything else to say about it! I sometimes don't comment on posts due to not really having anything to say. At least you know you got another YT view from someone who enjoyed it the song.
Some favourite Waoist Adages: #1: Play on the Way. #13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you. #58: Bring consciousness to it. #63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made. #92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

You guys always take the listener on a trip. This one is no exception. Great production and a compelling video. The guitar is very complimentary to the song. I enjoyed the journey, Tom

Ditto all the ++comments..I esp liked that, as a song laden with lyrics, you set them on a simple, uncluttered background..the lead guitar solo was nice, echoing the sung lyric pattern. Very impressive production!

You have got me doing it again, Scott. I'm sat here with my mouth hanging open. Always interesting what arrangements you come up with musically and the lyrics are mind bending.

Scott/Robert,
Love the funky sort of swamp/rock sound you've assembled here! Robert's lyrics are always next level stuff that take some thought to absorb! Scott your guitar always sounds great! Love the way you experiment with new sounds!
Take care, TB

I'm a huge fan of Spirit Level. What they're doing is unique. The closest thing I can think of is Pearls Before Swine, but even that isn't close, really. I love the intro on this, the vocals, and the guitars. I have my favorite SL efforts. This isn't quite among them, but it's still a good 'un. Would buy every CD they made, if they made 'em.

Yeah, you guys are full of magic, and I'm so glad you share the magic. I like Robert's vocal delivery telling the story in such an engaging way like someone telling tales around a campfire. Always love your videos, and, Scott, you have a brilliant knack of adding just what is needed to bring up the level of spirit you guys infuse into these songs.

When starting to listen to a Spirit Level song, I'm always excited to hear something unexpected and this song is not an exception. Very cool, mysterious poetry and Robert's unique voice interprets the story stronger than ever.
The drums and the bass create pleasantly tight rhythm and Scott's guitar sounds like the leader of the wolf pack in the promised land.
Love those howling wolves, fit perfectly with this psychedelic rock! Thanks for another magic spiritual journey.

Scott and Robert,
The outstanding video and somewhat difficult, philosophical lyrics are typical of Robert. The vocals here are especially superb this time. The accompanying guitar is also excellent. Enjoyed my listen and watch a lot.
Best regards.

Hi Scott and Robbert,
When I watched the song, I knew I heard it before some days ago, on YT. That was because of the wolves, the clown and that bariton guitar. I can't recall why I haven't replied this very good song. Probably something in the house here that made me run away...
As I said, a real good song, with so good lyrics. I admit, I had difficulties getting all of it. I needed Google translate... And Scott, I liked the way you played that solo guitar in this song. Great!

That’s an enjoyable magic carpet ride, Scott and Robert.
This line and the vid scenery during it are so cool: “the vultures are wearing suits and collars”
The lyric, vocals, your guitar performances and the BiaB session guys all sound excellent.
Nice open mix with subtle dynamics.
Love the wolves and their howls too!
Cool!
