Here's my latest inspired by a friend of mine who has discovered the power of saying "no" a little later in life. I hope you like it. Hi Beth! I love the pace of this song, with the steady meter of the accompaniment contrasting with the drawn out but firmly sung 'No'. Other bits I like are the 7ths used in the guitar solo, and the surprising delight of the chord chosen under the lyric 'rejection' - loved this and love these types of harmonic surprises - but it didn't sound out of place - fitted right in. I'm going back to listen again!

Beth, lovely tune! Great rhythmic ambience and thoughtful use of loops. Cool harmonic movement. SUPER vocals and harmonies. Very engagingly done, and the arrangement and mix are stellar. Just...fantastic.

No kidding, this is so good, Beth. No one can deny it. No doubt those lyrics are so good, and your vocal is just perfect. THis song is a good one for everyone to learn, no exceptions. "No" gets a big yes from me.

The rhythm section had me hooked from the start. A brilliant song Beth and I love the harmony vocals. An excellent production all around.

Nice lines … in sentiment and rhymes.
Fine lead and harmony vocals.
Excellent open/airy mix and the soundstage is great on our monitors.
