Oh? The file was uploaded incorrectly.
I corrected it and uploaded it again.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hello?

This song was made in 1985

I made the song by refining a poem that was in the magazine of the company I went to for training.

The title was set as it was because there was a print called MEMO at the top of the text I copied at the time.

I appreciate any opinions, singing, arrangement, or any help with music.

I like your song., It's a bit dated by today's criteria, but just right for the time you wrote it. Very nice!

I speak enough Koren to get in trouble, but not enough to get out of trouble!

Nice work with the vocals!

aSoM, another very pleasant old song you've updated here. The synth vocals turned out nice. The harmony vocal sounds like it's drifting off the chords being played at around 2:00, you may wish to check that. Something fun that you might want to try to modernize the band is to download the vocal track into Band in a Box and try some newer RealStyles at the appropriate tempo. Just a thought. Nice tune!

Hi, Asom2me.

Nice listen. smile

But a couple notes about SynthV. I noticed that a number of the words were coming out really wrong, like "mind".

When you've got a word that's a single syllable, you can enter it into the note:

[mind ]

If you want to have that syllable split over multiple notes, don't do this:

[mi ] [ind ]

That's not going to work correctly.

Instead, use the dash "-" character to indicate that the note that follows is an extension of the prior note's syllable (called a melisma). In this example, I turn the one syllable word "mind" into two notes, by using the "-" on the note that follows "mind":

[mind ] [- ]

You can extend a syllable for as many notes as you want.

When you have a word that has multiple syllables, you can use the plus "+" character on a following note to indicate that note gets the next syllable:

[hello ] [+ ]

You can combine the "+" and "-" to extend the notes. In the example below, I've turned the first syllable into 3 notes, and the second syllable into two note:

[hello ] [- ] [- ] [+ ] [- ]

I think this is where a lot of the mispronunciations are coming from.

I hope this helps!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Nice song that could be adapted to many different styles. The synth voice sounded pretty real to me.
