Nice to hear from you guys! A successful change of style, could work as a pop song also, but the skillfully built jazzy approach brings another dimension. Clever lyrics by Leon.
Pleasant arrangement and lovely solo played with passion. And of course Janice's voice and Bud's touch are the cherries on this tasty cake.
A timeless piece, true artisan music, "Give me one more chance/To make you smile" certainly made me smile just like your earlier songs.

Sultry in six syllables. Can you decifer the respectful compliment from that? Peter, you know you 3 are my favorite group, and this one is an outstanding example to prove I have great taste. And with Leon in the mix and providing lyrics the quality goes through the roof. When Janice sings, I even enjoy listening to Jazz music  LOVE those harmonies. Everything about this song gets 10 out of 10 from me, the lyrics, the arrangement, the production, the choice of instruments (both BIAB and Leon's part), and did I mention the vocals? This is the _really_ good stuff!

Good to see a new one from you, Peter! You and Leon nailed the old school jazz vibe perfectly I think, and Janice of course is brilliant. Love the solo and outro guitar work, very tasteful.

Relaxing laid back bluesy jazz song. The only thing I'd have done differently is have a longer solo section in the middle as I feel a slow song like this needs such.

When you four get together I know that I am in for some fantastic ear candy and this song highlights it.

I always enjoy Janice's vocals and Bud's bespoke mastering. Janice's vocal performance really shines on this track, and Bud's mixing brought out all the nuances in her voice.

Smooth. So reminiscint of The Manhatten Transfer's treatment of some great standards like Blue Champagne. Fantastic collaboration. Love the band, lyrics and Janice's satiny vocals.

You are all stars. Janice is singing superbly, once more ... we truly are spoilt with talent, on this forum. I particularly loved her inflection on "They say a leopard can't change his spots" - clear, crisp, wonderful ... one example out of many. Leon's lyrics are beautiful, Peter is unobtrusive but vital, to my ears, to this track ... understated solos ... and Bud's mastering is stellar as usual. Congratulations, lady and gentlemen ... and thank you for sharing, we are all spiritually richer for it.
