Been working on a song with utility tracks. When I looked at the folder the song is saved in I got confused because there were a lot of WAV files. Got to thinking about it and I think there must be a WAV file for each frozen utility track. The name of the WAV files look like this:
Songname-SGU #1.WAV
In my case, the #n went up to #4.
Does anyone know if these are numbered in the same order as utility track number? Since I gave new names to the utility tracks, I can’t really tell.

Thanks, Open up one or more of the WAV files in BAB and play them. You will hopefully be able to recognize the tune. The Utility tracks can save as audio files. Also, the stem splitter will do something similar (but they are individually named).

Does anyone know if these are numbered in the same order as utility track number? Yes.

AudioTrack and Simon: Thanks for your comments. I neglected to say with my first post I had listened to the WAV files and concluded they were related to the utility tracks. After moving my SGU to a different folder, I no longer see those utility track WAV files. I’m thinking I must’ve done some sort of render to get them to show up. FYI, I am running the latest version of BIAB.

After moving my SGU to a different folder, I no longer see those utility track WAV files. I’m thinking I must’ve done some sort of render to get them to show up. If the songs were created in the 2021 version, any RealTrack on a Utility Track will have been generated as a WAV file. If that's the case, you should keep the WAVs as your songs will be missing instruments without them.
