Laurent, I have so much to say about this: This is one of the best compositions and productions that I’ve seen here in a long time, so perfectly made for the genre, absolutely shimmering. Congrats on a beautiful creation. I don’t know where your video clips come from, but they were also fantastic. I do have one area for improvement: your handling of the synth voices is outstanding, but when it got to the bridge, it suddenly sounded awkward to English-speaking ears. It’s a problem with syllable emphasis that should be easy to fix in synth V to get a natural sound. A couple of examples are:
It is madNESS..on THE dance floor…these need to be perhaps “It’s MADness out on the DANCE floor”. This is much more natural.
It’s worth changing because all the other parts of the vocal are so smooth and easy on the ears!
Lastly, I never went to a disco club, but if there really is such a thing as a “Disco Train” like you’ve created, I think I want to go!!
Lovely work!

This is positively a terrific production! So many elements masterfully melded into one big musical party! A great listen that is magically captivating.
Heavy disco for sure. My favorite disco song was actually written by Ringo and Harry Niilson. Well, it was the title I liked most: How Long Can Disco On? Man, that is such good track, and I love the video, Laurent.
Enjoy whatever happens! marty

Well arranged, even if it's not exactly disco in my opinion, but I'm no expert in this genre. Apart from the prosody issues that Tano has already mentioned, it's a solid song and fits well into the disco era.
They made us think of Wavy Gravy and his colorful bus. Janice said it gave her happy feet!
The synth vocals were smooth and nicely fit the vibe. Good mix and arrangement - we especially enjoyed the ethereal sections.
Cool!

I agree with Tano about the stressed syllables. This is a def. disco track - perhaps the vocals are a little loud - with a breakdown section too. Boogie on.

Thanks, Tom, for the insightful comments and insights. Regarding "It Is," it's a bit intentional because I didn't want to change the phrasing, but it might not be elegant. As for the accent, I need to work more with SynthesizerV and do some practice songs to learn more. Thanks. Laurent

Thanks again, Alan, for your very positive feedback. Laurent

Thanks Marty for the comments. I listened to the song: How Long Can Disco On. Amazing! Laurent

Thanks for your comments. I chose the disco style, but it's not that easy to achieve. You definitely need two or three repetitive chords and a very rhythmic voice to punctuate the lyrics. Laurent
Ah, this sounds good. Smooth major7ths and a danceable beat.
I agree with the others - the prosody on the last section is rough, especially in contrast to how well the preceding sections went. One of the nice things about synth vocals is the singers don't complain if you do retakes.
Relaxing funk/disco tune, great production. Excellent showcase of BIAB capabilities with your instrument selection and together with the lovely chord progression and all those nice synth details create a really authentic feel of the early days of disco. Great work with the vocalist to get such pleasant harmonies. The mix is very good, radio quality. I appreciate the hard work you have put to create the music and the glittering video, thanks for this nostalgic trip to the dancefloor.
