OP John Payne Apprentice J Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 189 Rockwall, TX, USA	Surely I'm not the first to suggest this, but I would love a PG app that would run on a tablet that played previously created BIAB audio files with a moving cursor the way BIAB and iReal Pro do. The BIAB sounds just blow the iReal Pro sounds away so at least some of that market might become available. I'm sure we'd be happy to pay extra for this app, but make creating the file one click simple in BIAB. I know we can kinda to this now by recording videos and transferring these to tablets, but it's clunky and the videos often skip the first few bars. Please?

Like I said before, I can't believe I'm the first to ... , but guess I now see I may be the last. Just tried the iOS app on a few of my files as a test, it works and sounds great. I've been part of the BIAB community for many years but only used on Windows/PC, so hadn't paid much attention to iOS offerings. For years I've played jazz guitar in small settings and venues with backing from laptop/BIAB live, though I'd tried loading BIAB-made videos to phone/tablet. Some success there, but clumsy keeping those up to date with what's on my PC. A few months ago started working with a 20-piece horn (Maynard-style) band, so to keep up with the cool-kids I started using ForScore on an Apple tablet. But in my small venue world I now see that by using the BIAB iOS app in the iPad I can use all my PC files, no translations needed. This is a very big deal for me. Thanks for showing me the way.

I think you haven’t been aware of the BIAB app because they introduced it quietly. I hope it gets more promotion because it deserves wider recognition. There is a small beta testing group helping to test it. BIAB 2026 Win Audiophile. Software: Fender Studio One 8, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Fender Quantom HD8 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.
