Hi, friends !

It is truly a long time since I was able to meet you
on this forum ! I just came home from Spain a place
for some strange happenings ! Firstly, I was
watching TV at night and suddenly the whole building trembled !
It was like a giant had shaken the whole house one single time
and as I live at the attico I almost got my heart up in my throat
just thinking that the building might start breaking up and
fall into pieces ! The epicenter was just 5 km:s out in the
mediterranean and the earthquake was of the magnitude
2.9, this due to the fact that the African continental plate is pushing up
towards the European !

Later we got to experience a 9 hour long power shutdown (outage)!
that hit all of Spain, Portugal and parts of France (according to
non specified sources) ! I had forgot my mobile in the car down
at the garage and I took the elevator down there, when I came back, the
elevator was dysfunctional and I had to climb up the 5 stairs to
my apartment up on the roof (some of you say that was good
and healthy training) but thus I narrowly escaped a stay in
the elevator for nine 9 hours ! huh, well anyway we had a splendid time
down there as usual and as I finally got my Biab 95 to function
I did rerecord an old tune I had written a long time ago but
never finalized ! So here we go with " Time To Rock and Time To Roll"

Here are the lyrics:

Time To Rock and time to Roll
´round and ´round just havin´a ball
swingin´around and out into the Hall

Arms around you nice and tight
swayin´and swirlin´into the night
Darlin´don´t wanna lose you out of sight

´cause you Darlin´
always make me feel
so very good you know
and that is all for real
for real

This is the Night to Celebrate
that we´re together, ain´t that so great
I believe it was ment to be our fate

I must be so lucky a guy
to find a gal like you Oh, My !
in my older days my Darlin´Hi !

´cause you Darlin´
always make me feel
so very good you know
and that is all for real
for real

Take my hands
let´s take a chance
Rockin´and a Rollin´ together
in splendid romance

This is the Night to Celebrate
that we´re together, ain´t that so great
I believe it was ment to be our fate

´cause you Darlin´
always make me feel
so very good you know
and that is all for real
for real

Cheers
Dani

Missed you, buddy. Love the rock beat, and your vocal is always cool and deep. Time to rock is an apporiate title after such a rocking shake up you experienced.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Hi Dani.

It's great to see you again.
I love this composition of yours.
It ticks all the "enjoyable music" boxes for me.
The groove is perfect, the lyrics are excellent and your performance shines!
I loved what you did.

All the very best smile
--Noel

P.S. That was an amazing adventure in Spain! I read about the 9-hour power blackout here in Australia. A to cap it all off with earthquakes caused by continental drift! This will definitely be a holiday that you won't forget.

Rockin' great song with nicely mixed BiaB instrumentation. I also like the main and harmony vocals, though they could be a touch louder in the mix.

Thanks for sharing your exciting story. I'm glad that you managed to bring us this summery rock song like a warm gust of wind from the Mediterranean and the earthquake or the power outage didn't break your BIAB or your wide-range voice. Sweet romantic lyrics and catchy groove. Have a lovely summer full of rock!

Janne
