Still have distortion coming out for playback of tracks and audio recordings.Using NI audio kontrol 1 for interface.Any suggestions would help.

its difficult to help without more details of your set up.
post pics of the following.
1. your NI user control panel settings.
2. your audio preferences settings in rb.
and detail your connections settings.
NI outs go to what ??

check as see if 16 bit/44k is selected as I believe that's the only setting allowed in RB and BIAB.

Hi,and thanks for reply.Not sure how to send pics thru forum.Possible to email you?Ni control panel- user defined settings ,USB buffersize 2ms, Audio buff 6ms.Sample rate44100hz. Asio Kontrol 1 driver in 1+2 out 1+2 Asio always on check.Coming out to pc speakers from headphone jack 1/2.I'll send rb settings in seperate reply.Thanks ,Jack...

Hi, NI control panel- user defined settings/usb buffersize 2ms -audio buff.6ms, sample rate 44100hz. Audio Kontrol 1= asio driver input 1+2, output 1+2,using my headphone out 1/2 to pc speakers. RB settings=16-bit,44.1, enable input monitoring checked,all IM effects recording checked.Hope this helps,not sure how to send pics.Thanks so much again for your help.

Hi again,I should mention,tracks playback fine and clean when ALL IM Effects recording box is NOT checked,But, if it isn"t,I get no sound from guitar rig 4 as a plugin in RB.It's almost like its playing back thru itself.Thanks again.

Also,my OS is windows 7 64 bit.Gateway NV5378u laptop.If that also helps.I hope guitar rig 4 /NI, and RB are compatible somehow cause I really like sounds in gr4 but just can't seem to get it to jive with RB.Very FRUSTRATED, Thanks again.

Where is guitar rig running from? Track FX?
Is there a different set of outputs you could select in RB as a test to see what happens? Maybe try just the headphone jack on the laptop (just for a test) to see if the loop back has to do with the ASIO in Kontrol.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Exactly what issue, Davey? Do you have the exact same set up as the OP? If not you need to post the details of your set up like he did. Since he's not posted since March I'll take a guess and say his problem was setting the ASIO buffer settings too low. That will cause glitching that some will call distortion.
