Hi, I hope somebody might be able to guide me. I have a song in BIAB and I’m trying to render it as a MP3. I drag the master down to the MP3 box, in the upper left hand corner of BIAB. But after each attempt, and after I locate the MP3 files in Drag and Drop, the melody does not play.
I tried dragging it as an audio file, dragging it as a midi file and not selecting it at all. But I can’t get the melody to play after rendering. It used to work just fine, but recently, I’ve had this problem. I ignored it because it wasn’t critical, but today it's more important.
I'm not at my DAW, I just want a basic Work Tape.
Thanks for any guidance anyone can give me. Terry

I sent this reply to the email you sent support, but I'll add it here too: If your MIDI playback is using the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, that will not be rendered into your MP3 file as the GS counts as an "external" synthesizer. Please go to Options > Preferences > MIDI Driver, then set it to use a VSTi/DXi synth - the included CoyoteWT synth should sound the same as the Microsoft GS. ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=30761&filename=midi.png)
