Peaceful Easy Feeling

Sit back in your easy chair, lay on your back looking at the stars, or lay by an ocean, creek, or lake and let your mind wonder.

The harp and piano are MIDI loops from the MA Thinker series:
Harp - Kontakt - Amadeous - Harp
Piano - EZKeys2 - Session Grand - Basic

BiaB style - Pop Ballad w/Symphony
I only used the string and bass tracks and converted them to MIDI:
Strings - Kontakt - Amadeous - Full String Ensemble
Bass - Kontakt - Amadeous -Basses

I am playing the nylon string guitar and via my breath and keyboard controllers the Swam Bassoon.

As always all comments are welcomed.

My wife had her driving test today.

So you're doing an Eagles cover?
It's one of our fav tunes.

Oops ... not a cover smile smile

"sit back in your easy chair, lay on your back looking at the stars, or lay by an ocean, creek, or lake and let your mind wonder."
Something we all could do more off. At least me (Bud) as Janice is a master of it.

Man, what a perfect description. It so well fits all those scenarios.

The nylon and bassoon are great choices for the mellow vibe and, per ususal, well peformed.
We watch a lot of mellow nature shows and this would be an outstanding background track for them.

Your choice of sounds for the midi tracks is always excellent.

Nice indeed.

Mario this is BEAUTIFUL.

Oh how I wish I could compose something like this, it just pulls you right in and wraps it's arms around you in a lovely warm gentle hug!

It put me in mind of the theme tune from the movie 'Local Hero', Going Home by Mark Knopfler.... One of my favourite tunes.

Wonderful sir👍

Hi, Mario.

Very nice! I'm a big fan of the bassoon, so it's always nice to hear it get the love it deserves.

Nice work on the guitar as well. smile

Thanx so much Janice and Bud. My problem with laying down is that no matter where I am I fall to sleep!
I'm glad that you liked it.

Thanx so much Pete for this wonderful review. I'm sure that if you tried you could compose a song like this. If I can do it anyone can.

Thanks, Mario. I needed that. Seems so many are succumbing to the darkness and cold-heartedness in the world these days instead of focusing their attention on the gentle meanderings of a beautiful composition. It was soo short!

Thanx Beth. I agree that "so many are succumbing to the darkness and cold-heartedness in the world these days". I'm glad that my little song helped even if it was only for a couple of minutes.

Beautiful instrumental, Mario. I so wish there was more woodwind in BiaB as I'd love to be creating with bassoon, oboe, piccolo, et al. The Swam bassoon in this is perfect for the piece.

Fabulous song, Mario. Peaceful and easy for sure. Love your scoring and the impressive-without-being-flashy feeling you've achieved. Every note serves the song beautifully. Well done, sir!

What a nice surprise! I was waiting for one of my favourite songs by the Eagles, but you painted your own nice relaxing sound picture. Would suit as a movie soundtrack.
