So I'm looking for a style for Henry Mancini's 'Charade.' I have a link to the song, which I'll post below, but this is the version that, to me, sounds like 'spy music' or something like that.
To me, it sounds like the first 16 bars are just percussion, and then the following 16 bars are the first part of the melody using basically the same drum backing. The next 16 tracks add some more instruments, i.e. strings and so forth, and then the final 16 bars are back to the just the percussion.
I'll probably do the song through twice and the second time around I'll use a different jazzz waltz style(s), but I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a BIAB style that goes along with this song?

If you haven't tried the "song title" filter in the upper right hand corner of the Style Picker, it's worth a look. None of the suggestions sound exactly right to me, but there may be parts you can use. Good luck!

Yes, the Familiar Song Title Filter in the top right of the StylePicker is a good place to put in a song name for Style suggestions. You could also apply your own filters via the dropdown menus in the StylePicker found under the Filter String. As for getting just percussion, you can always mute all the other instruments via the bar settings window by right on the measure where you want the mute to apply, then setting all desired instruments to mute. When you want them to come back you, you'd do the same thing on the measure you wish for them to return on and use the back to normal option for those instruments instead.
Ember, Ron, The Song Finder was the first place I went when I was looking for the style. I didn't really find anything that worked for me.
Ember, as to muting the other parts, that was the intent if I could have found a style that was close to what I was looking for, and I was also even possibly planning on switching styles in the middle as required.
I haven't found anything else, but I thought I would ask the collective mind here if anyone had any ideas.

You may want to consider downloading a MIDI version of Henry Mancini's 'Charade' and either using it, extracting the drum/percussion tracks, converting it to a BiaB style, or all or parts of the above.
