Caribbean night Hi! here's my latest, a sensual Latin tune remerging some of the nights at a nightclub many moons ago. Hope you like it. Half and half midi and RT. That is very nice Mike.
As we so often say ... you are a master of all BiaB productions.
The soundstage you set up always sounds like a live band.
Like a group of guys who've been playing together for years.
And this is no exception.
We had to take a look at that style. Lotta cool tracks there.
MST's are a near hidden gem. We use them almost exclusively piano tracks.

Hi, Mike. I love the composition - cool instrumentation. I'd have liked it if you could push some of the instruments a bit further back into the mix when they weren't in the lead. At points it feels like there are several instruments in the front of the mix. Having to figure out which gets my attention makes it hard, lazy listener that I am.

I really, really enjoyed this. Di and I always enjoyed Latin sounds - I still do. Lovely composition. Sometimes the piano overrides other lead instruments. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my listen very much. Nice!

Super arrangement, and love the sounds you're squeezing out of your "hybrid" band. Only constructive comment is to agree with the previous comments on the mix. Everything is up front, and at times it starts to sound cluttered. The mental construct I can apply to the suggestion is this: Pretend the mics are further away as you mix this, and let the band breathe a bit more. Still a super song, and a GREAT BiaB demo!

I love Latin-style songs, so I loved it as soon as I listened to it.

I'm a big fan of Cuban music and this reminds me of the swinging sons. Tres is the difference maker and horns perfect the arrangement. All I'm longing for is the vocals, but it still fits to dancing.
