I can't believe that I'm the first to post this here. As one of millions being bombarded with get rich quick schemes promising systems where I learn to let AI do all the work while the money just rolls in, one thing has been bothering me (even if I believed these "money-for-nothing" schemes): Since AI cannot be copyrighted, it cannot be owned. I've been wondering when Google was going to wake up to the fact that they don't have to pay for it. Well, Google has woken up. Neither will it stop Google et al from monetizing it. But, when people discover that they aren't getting paid for their zillions of views, perhaps the internet will become just a little better. I'm planning on launching a couple of new YouTube channels soon with my own content. Frankly, I'm a good enough voice actor that I've never considered AI content or voices. This is the best news I've read all week!

Dunno. We are way on the periphery of this as we subscribe to the ad free YT option and watch nothing but music videos of artists that we enjoy. And our all AI free J&B vids only get a few hundred views. But anything that will reduce the Slop, as I understand it, is welcomed by us. On a marginally related note I was recently working on a story board for a possible upcoming video and visited my favorite PD photo site Pixabay for which I have long been a member. I searched on a relevant topic and the thousands of photos that appeared were ALL AI generated and it was noticeable from the first nanosecond they were on the screen. Fortunately they included a non-AI filter. Were it not for that my subscription would have been cancelled. Sheesh. Bud
