Enjoyed listening Carl...sure didn't hear any "finger stumbling"..everything so nice and clear as a bell. The string-rich texture was very pleasing. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Very relaxing, Carl. I like the way your guitar leads but with various instruments interweaving, subtlely.
I’m interested in the song title - what that means and its relationship to the music?
Well done.

Hi Tom - thanks a lot for taking a listen and for your very nice comments, very pleased the painful fingers didn't show too much, it's a pain getting old and still wanting to make music! Really glad you enjoyed it,
Best, Carl

Hi Andrew - thanks a lot for your comments and for taking a listen, as you mentioned the interweaving of instruments & sounds are like a Celtic Knot - to me the gentleness of Celtic Music has deep echoes of interconnectedness and things eternal (without wanting to get too spiritual!). I have celtic blood to some extent - born in Denmark many moons ago, lived in the UK since 1968 incl 6 months in Scotland. In the UK we used to enjoy a beautiful TV series called 'Transatlantic Sessions' (YT?) which also had an influence - early experience in a church choir also helped to shape my ears for 'chords & melody'! Really pleased you found it relaxing,
Best, Carl

Carl, super tune, and really well played. Superb arrangement, too. Great touch and tone on the guitar. Love your piano work and how you wove the BiaB sounds seamlessly into your live playing.

Hi, Carl. Lovely sound. The fiddle in the background was a nice touch.

Thanks a lot David - super glad you approved, I was aware of the loud string squeaks and was ready to purchase RX11 incl Guitar De-Noise - unfortunately it turned out that my OS is too old and I'd have to update it with all the accompanying software chaos, so I had a go at reducing most of the squeaks! Hope it's now a bit kinder on the ears! Thanks for taking a listen, Best Carl,

Hi, Carl. It's not Sunday, but I missed ya, man. Right from the first two chords you captured the Celtic flavor, and from there made it your own as if you invented the style so long ago --in France when it was pronounced Seltics. haha Man, I love your style, touch and and taste with those old fingers. Perfect choice of instruments to accompany those golden digits of yours.
This one was too short for a Carl Morgensen tune, but it was as beautiful as ever. Thanks.

Marty - your warm and genuine comments always give great encouragement, being a Dane by birth (so viking blood) combined with early church choir singing and 6 months living in Scotland (1969-70) might have something to do with any celtic influence? Couldn't sing a note now if I tried (I wish) so I rely on what's left in these old fingers to let the emotions flow - celtic music always has had a strong sense of mood & feelings to me (Transatlantic Sessions), a simple chord sequence can spring alive with a sweet melody on top - it's what I strive for, really chuffed you approved Marty!! Thanks so much, Carl

Carl, your professionalism really shines on this song. Super fiddle was icing on the cake. Outstanding song.

Thanks a lot Mario - your approval always very welcome, can't get that fiddle out of my head - BB is AMAZING!! Hope you're maintaining great improvement in your fingers! As a guitar player you might struggle at times with STRINGS SQUEAKS - this guy shows how to fix it with Fabfilter Pro MB multi band compressor:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhwPi-jkajI&pp=ygUic3BpbmxpZ2h0IHN0dWRpb2ZpeCBndWl0YXIgc3F1ZWFrc9IHCQnNCQGHKiGM7w%3D%3D
I'm just starting to learn this very useful fix - not cheap at £144, but luckily I happen to have it already, have a great weekend Mario,
Carl

Beautiful and fine arrangements. The fingering sounds of strings only goes, that it's has been played by a real person and not a machine! It didn't disturb me from enjoying your lovely tune. One famous folk music producer has said, that if there isn't any mistakes in a recording, it's not authentic.
