Soundcloud - Sign Up Today feat. Tilted Halo
I posted this song back on 18 July (click here) then received an offer from Tilted Halo (Beth) to record a version, and this thread is Beth’s version. I love it!
Hearing it has brought out some great aspects - colour and shades…
- Beth’s voice has much more empathy and nurturing, which is a good fit for the theme
- The harmonies in the chorus are wonderful - particularly in the passage I mention next
- The line “It’s easy to ignore it all, and better to break down the walls” better brings out the melody and the chord change from major to minor
Beth’s version has more space in it (more intimate), because I normally surround my own singing with instruments and harmonies to support it (a.k.a. hide the warts).

I liked the song, and, of course, the message in the lyric. And you can't do better than Beth on vox. Great work.

Andrew and Beth, this is a great song with a powerful message.

Well, this turned out great, didn't it? Solid song, and Beth is (obviously) a talented vocalist and interpreter. Super band and I like the mix a lot, too. Sign me up! Today!
