Hope this is ok to post as I cant seem to edit the original post! Ive now replaced the AI vocal on the original track for my own and uploaded it to soundclick. https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=15076429

I prefer this version, Pete. Your vocals are great. Your tone and range are way better than mine. Thank you, I really appreciate your comment. I actually quite enjoyed recording this one lol. As others have said to me in here, don't put your voice down, it's your character that brings the song alive 👍 Pete

Yep. Definitely enjoy your vocal. On this listen, I felt the choruses needed something additional to lift them above the feel of the verses - maybe some backing vocals or additional instrumentation?
Anyhow, a great song - well sung!

Pete, marvelous vocals, so much more feeling than any AI I've heard (so far). That bridge ERUPTS. Looking forward to the harmonies!  FWIW, the moderators can open back up a locked post, but truthfully a new post is the best way to let folks know you've posted an update.

Oh, yeah, Pete. You vocal has my vote. You sing like you understand the words and express them with feeling. Ai can't do that. THese lyrics are too good to miss the feeling and understanding in the vocal. Yeah, add some harmonies if youlike, but this song is so good there is nothing needed but a strumming guitar and your vocal.

Pete, this is much better. You have a fantastic voice and you know how to emphasize the lyrics. Synth vocals really can't do that to this degree.
