Robert and I have taken a bit of hiatus. This is an experimental piece that I been playing with.

I haven't posted an instrumental for a few years. I built this back track in January and broke it into 4 different pieces. I recorded a guitar and then waited for a month and did another and waited an so on without playing the previous section to see what I would come up with.

The golf reference is to what pretty much burns up most of my spare time when the sun is shining.

Gee, Scott, this sounds GREAT. The opening section is bonkers, and the interplay between the guitar and synth throughout is very cool. Quite a coherent composition despite the section-by-section performance. Did I say this sounds GREAT? Wonderful mix, open and airy with a great stereo image. Love this!

Very trippy, Scott, I dug it. You've got your own style, that's for sure. Not many can say that.

It's been a long time since you did an instrumental!

Sounds great, Scott, very original. Love your mix too, sounds fabulous through the 'phones.

Enjoyed!

Very cool Scott.

I like those effects you were using and the phrasing is really hypnotic.

I really enjoyed this.

Exciting and mysterious, although I cannot say that about golf wink The mood develops nicely, there's something very unique in your style of playing and together with the cool chord progression and unexpectedly moving melody, this is a great example of an interesting instrumental. Nice change of dynamics from calm to power. The synth sound is nicely otherworldly. I wish I don't have to wait the follow-up for a year smile

Cool psychedelic Pink Floyd-ish instrumental.
Your guitar and synth playing is perfect for this genre.
Enjoyed my listen.
A lot!

Scott, this is absolutely fantastic. Great chops. Love the groove on this one. Great interplay between the synth and guitar - brilliant. Outstanding mix.
You have postrd some outstanding music here but IMHO this is your best to date.
Loved it.

PS - I tried golf once. I decided that I have enough things that raise my blood pressure and I didn't need anything else added to them. However I did really well at the 19th hole wink

Gorgeous instrumental. I immediately began 'seeing' a modern Western movie - maybe like the one Neil Young did a basic soundtrack to - as it's so atmospheric. The guitar-work was perfect.

Birdies to bogies sonds like an unfortunate path, but this song is more like a hole-in-one. Man, that was a really cool approach you had for this one, Scott. Your guitar work is second to none. Such glorious technique and taste. A tune that builds and yet each block solidifies the entire edifiace. Moody magic, Scott.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Hi, Scott.

As Beth said, very trippy!

Not what I'd expect for a song named after golf. laugh

A definite PinkFloydish vibe. Cool that you found that within BIAB....
Neat idea to do this in sections. Made for a very interesting listen.
Nice touch.
Enjoyed.

Captivating listen. Very imaginative work with the synth and guitar. I like how you put the organ just under in the mix to give flavor but not to overpower.

I closed my eyes and felt like I was floating along, like your golf ball sailing through the air.
And crossing over sand traps and a pretty pond (nice ). 😊

Your tone and chops are very superb.
They perfectly fit the ethereal vibe.

We enjoyed how it came together.

This is a very cool instrumental!
