you are obviously talented.
heres another idea for a plug in.
i dont know if its possible technically via the ptw developer scheme
interface for developing plug ins.
but..imagine this idea. conceptually.
(ive only ever developed industrial systems not music apps.
and ive done enough codeing for years i dont ever wanna do more..lol.))
1. user has a song they are developing in ptw.
2. while song is playing every time the user presses a F on puter keyboard,
the plug in looks at the tempo and creates a "drum fill" on a spare track.
composed of real drum samples the user has identified to the plug in.
(via a simple user dialog. that points to the file location of each wav sample.
eg limit of 5 user samples.)
as i said whethe its doable..i dunno.
many is the time ive seen not just myself but many people needing to
get into midi to do a drum fill..and such takes time.
the "F" feature would be random. if a user didnt like it.
try another run thru. this way a user could build a library of drum fills at different tempos
he/she liked n use em in various songs.
its nice to see someone developing plug ins for ptw.

I'm working on a similar idea, not only wav, but midi fills also, want to put some pads in the plugin, and will be freely configured and have shortcuts or midi CC.

Jovem. thats very interesting mate. all the best. ps..for further ideas for you.. give this wish list item a read. http://www.pgmusic.com/ubbthreads/showfl...ge=0#Post182706one of the biggest problems for poor musicians is the commercial drum vsti plug ins can get rather costly with all the plug in pacs. so a cheap alternative would be interesting instead of spending often lotsa money on drum plug ins. n expansion packs.

Now you can control the VSTi without using many virtual MIDI ports, select the MIDI out port of plugin, to the same port MIDIin of PowerTracks to send messages to it. New Favorites button to select patches on large banks of sounds. download link: http://rapidshare.com/files/370085054/_PSELECT.zipUnzip in Powertracks folder and in Powertracks menu click Action->Select .DLL or .EXE, choose PSELECT in list, and Ok. To execute press F11 or in then menu Action->Run .DLL or .EXE enjoy
