Hello Folks. I noticed that BIAB came into my life about this time last year. Since then, I've produced 23 songs and counting. How cool is that? I'm marking the occasion with my latest, which frankly, at this point I am sick of hearing, but maybe your ears will enjoy if it's not too froo-froo for you! Beth,
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard on the forum...
Your vocal and the overall production absolutely shines.
Loved this!

Okay. I actually laughed out loud reading that you're "sick of hearing" it. Man, I bet we all know that feeling. WOW, what a beautiful song beuatifully sung. Love those lyrics. Excellent melody that carries us upward and never let's us down. Interesting abrupt ending. Seemed there was some pieces battling for the low end. Love this song. Thanks.

A really beautiful song, Beth. I know what you mean by 'sick of hearing it' as I spend so much time on my material that I listen to it countless times before I ever upload to YT. I've been on the forum for maybe 2½ years and currently have 40 finished projects and others waiting to be uploaded, and that's with most of what I've done over the past 10½ months being channel-swap and remixes of all previous posts (due to my PC playing stereo channels in reverse). I've posted 4 new instrumentals this year and have a backlog of 5, plus I've yet to do vocals and vocal demos for others to sing on 5 new projects, so I'm still producing 1 new track a month and that's all down to BiaB being such a phenomenally creative program. From my late teens in the late 60s to the mid 80s I wrote just over 80 sung songs - which is nothing compared to the prolific output of songwriters like Marty Straub and Bob Dean - but had BiaB been around way back then it would have been at least double that. Once again, mega-thanks to PG Music!
Some favourite Waoist Adages: #1: Play on the Way. #13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you. #58: Bring consciousness to it. #63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made. #92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

Beth, wow, this is SO beautiful! Not to read too much between the lines, but it seems you've crystalized a positive spirituality into a confident, appealing musical style, and this is a great example. LOVE your vocals. And you've really nailed this BiaB thing.

Beth, what a beautiful song. Your vocal is very strong and your harmonies are spot on. I loved the arrangement. Great backing tracks that were mixed to perfection. Loved it
PS - You have come a long way in a very short time. Keep up the great work of song writing.

Hello Beth,
Well, that is a cool song, if I may say it that way. I felt like I was swinging between yesterday and now, thanks to your lyrics and the song's melody (and the instruments). And that swinging was so nice. Thanks for that!

Hi Marty, Thank you for listening and commenting. Curious about your comment about the low-end battle. Can you help me understand how to maybe approach a fix on that?

Beth, "Pixie dust scattered spritely always in the flow" I thought that was the perfect way to describe your song. The write, the prodcution, the vocal. Lovely. And what David said.... 23 songs! That's an impressive number, and your productions are getting better and better. This sounds great! Froo-froo away! fj

Loved the melody and the arrangement supporting it. Rhyme scheme was interesting. And your voice of course was wonderful! Wow, 23 songs in a year. It took me five years to do 37 songs. I'm slow, I guess. Great work here.

23 finished (!) songs is quite a lot for one year, I only manage about half that amount. And number 23 is pretty good, nicely arranged with a good selection of instruments. But the best part is your singing, it's just beautiful. Enjoyed my listen a lot ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/images/icons/default/thumbs_up.gif)

We love “connect your own dots” writes. There are so many ways listeners can relate to this. We especially like: “We were born for these times
We can skip along timelines
Survivor through trials
We’ve battled denials
And we recognize the signs
We were born for these times” Nice band, vocal performance and mix! J&B PS 23 songs in a year? Wow! We’ve been here for 14 years and are lucky to average one every month or so. That ole muse just doesn’t visit us often enough.
Our albums and singles are on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Pandora and more. If interested search on Janice Merritt. Thanks! Our Videos

What a beautiful song, the lyrics are breathtakingly delightful - many touching metaphors with the flavors of eternity and pixie dust ... and "We were born for these times/We can skip along timelines/survivor through trials" describes our lives precisely. Great melody and the chord progression supported by that excellent acoustic folk band, I enjoyed how your angelic voice and the strings sing in harmony. 23 songs in a year is a respectable achievement in creativity, doesn't sound like you are running out of ideas, so I'm looking forward to hearing more masterpieces in the future Janne

Beth, don't apologize for the froo-froo-ness...I'd have a problem with it if it was saccharine/over-sweet, but this is tender and loving, and it comes off just right. I'm always impressed with your vocals, and your selection of the players/RTs is impeccable. Really enjoyed listening to this!!

Hi Beth, 23 songs? Wow, that's a lot!!! I think I'll only manage one this year, maybe two with a bit of luck ;-) Your new song sounds good. Well sung, and the background track suits the song well too. The backing vocals add a nice depth. Good work, Beth. Keep having fun and making great songs with BiaB. Andi ;-)
