Here is another instrumental. This file was just another experimental piece I was developing for possible use in a Spirit Level song.

Just a basic riff blending different tones and effects from Helix.

No intro. 24 bar chorus, from bar 1 to bar 24. Repeat x3 choruses
No Melody
No Soloist track.

Style is _BOND.STY (Bond Fusion Ballad)

Scott,

Lovely sounding song that is primed to add a set of lyrics for a ballad!
The Gretsch sounds lovely!
Nice job with the backing material!

Thanks, TB

I listened to Mario's "Paradise Island" just before this so I was able to continue sitting back in my recliner and letting it wash over me. Really enjoyable; plus I really do think you've got a great basis for a Spirit Level song, though I imagine a female vocalist with a soulful and dreamy voice.

Scott, super backing track and lovely playing, articulation and tone. Like the 2nd and 3rd guitars with the panning and FX you have on them, a very cool contrast. My only issue is it ended too soon though. Ha!

Scott, you make that Guitar Gretsch Penguin sing! Outstanding chops and tone. Super clean outstanding mic. The perfect backing band to boot. This is one hell of a ballad.
Loved it.

Hi Scott.

This is superb listening. I'm not a guitarist but I really, really love the tone of your Gretsch guitar. It sounded like it was almost singing. And the melody and the way that you have arranged it were super. I sat back in my chair, closed my eyes and just let your music soothe and relax me. I loved it.

Scott, what a wonderful example of setting a theme with a simple opening motif and staying with it the whole way through, without getting lost in the solo area. I kept listening throughout for that simple two or three note theme... It was always there somehow. Exceptional, instrumental peace and i'm sure it will work wonderfully however you decide to use it.

This is so cool. I love the sound of your playing (I wish I had your skills). And I like the dual guitar parts.

Great, earworm riff that sounds like it would fit well into a Spirit Level song. Love the soundscape to this. Well done.

"Man, his guitar always takes me away" was the the first thought that came to mind after pushing Play. To finish the thought... " to a place that does't exist except in the dreams and souls of everyone alive." I like your experiment with sounds. It reminds me of a very accomplished musician who can make even the wonkiest guitar sound great. So cool, Scott. A special talent.

Enjoy whatever happens!

There's the Scott writing I know. Guitar sonics are stellar and the melodies your coaxed from the neck would carry lyrics really well.

Cheers

Lovely tone, lovely melody, which is what I've come to expect from you, Scott.

Very effective when you bring in the other guitars panned left and right, just a great headphone listen.

Excellent!

That was a really nice listen, Scott. The blend of the various tones worked out quite nicely.

I almost bought a White Falcon back in the 60s. I ended up with a Gretsch Tennessean , the Chet Atkins model, instead.

Again, very nicely done. Your music is always a pleasure to listen to.

Alan

Scott - that is one beautiful track and sound, chilled and laid back with
gorgeous Gretsch sound!! I'm VERY curious as to what you played the
guitar through - real amp, amp sim, amp pedal or straight into DAW?
The tone is FAB - mix is great,

Carl
