Alan, slinky and cool. I'm not even sure what this genre is, but I like what you've done with it. The lead guitar turned out quite nice, and I like the short reverb(?) tail you've got on it. That's a nice progression, too, with lots of little dynamic twists to keep it interesting. Suspect you've got a lot of these to be proud of in this grouping, 'cause I doubt there are many genres you can't lend your magic touches to. Nice one! Hi Ron, Thank you so much. Yes, reverb tails. Just three short repeats that quickly fade. Good ear! I have a two or three more that are worth sharing. I'll be posting them off and on over the next couple of weeks. As far as genres, I cover quite a few because my musical interests are quite varied. I played country music for a living, but I've always listened to many other genres. I appreciate all of that, Ron. You spun up a really good style here, and I’m going to note it down for future use. I love the chord progression and lead melody. Under 3 minutes? Less is more!
Andrew HI Andrew... Most of my songs are done in 6 hours or less. I do have a few I've been working on for quite some time. I'm not a perfectionist. I know when I've done the best my skills allow, and I accept that. I had my 15 minutes (actually 40+years) in a small spotlight. Good enough for me - it's made quite a few house payments! Chord progressions are my strong point. They come to me pretty easily - not always, but usually. I'm glad you enjoyed it - thanks for the nice comments! Alan

Nice. I could listen to Mr. Mason all day. I listen very intently to your tracks, hoping some of their quality will rub off. We'll see. HI Bob, Yeah, Brent knows his way around a 6-string pretty good. I've mastered 4 or 54 of them. At almost 80 years old, the remaining one or two will just have to accept they won! But my skills, to whatever extent I have them, have treated me well over the years. I'm glad you enjoyed this. Uh ... I don't think you need any of my touches (but you're welcome to any you might want to consider) - you do quite good on your own. I always enjoy your posts - look forward to them! HI david, Thanks for the reminder. I didn't realize I'd used the link to my library, rather than the specific song. Someday you'll be almost 80 and understand. Hoping you exceed 80! So far, I'm doing pretty good - no aches or pains. The only prescribed meds I take are a small dose of Lipitor and Lisinopril. I take an occasional sleeping pill by choice - but not very often since Di's passing. Had to back then so I would be up in time to help her in the mornings. Now my schedule is typically: go to bed about 5:00 am and get up about 11:00 am. I'm a hardcore nightowl. If you never have, look up articles about people with 24 and half hour body clocks - that's me. Many thanks, David. Alan
