You sang this song beautifully, Janice. Straight from my heart, and I enjoyed it immensely.
Although I've been warning you for a few years to beware of those creepy men. But you still refuse to listen to me...
Although this also gives us these beautiful songs of yours!!! Peter, as always, accompanies them with incredible sensitivity on his guitar. And your husband, Bud, is a master at combining all of this into beautiful songs. This one too!
These are the kind of men you don't have to be wary of. You just have to love them.
I noticed that where I had a song about Round and Round, you can immediately come up with a [*****]: No Turnaround ;-)

'An admittedly trite Bud write....'
Well, okay, but there's a lot to like. Of course Janice's vocals are always spot on as they are here, and the piano and the guitar work very well together throughout the track.

Janice has that special quality to turn a "trite write" (a clever write, actually) into something special. I read the title and said "What!? You can't tell an old blues guy 'no turnaround.'" Then I realized it was a traffic conceit. Sounded good on my Sennheiser cans (600HD, the giant killer) and was worth several listens. Good work, team!

J&B and Peter, SUPER song, and superb performances by all. Love how perfectly understated this is without losing the beauty or emotional impact. A really fine balance, perfectly achieved. Fantastic vocals, tasteful guitar fills and a fine, FINE mix. Love the too-seldom-heard-here cajon, too. Great job (again)! Morning Janice, Bud, and Peter! This one has a bit of an Eagles vibe to me, that laid back feel they were so good at. Fabulous vocal and harmonies! Such great tone! This has a mid 70s country rock flavour - could've been Linda or Jackson, possibly Carol.
The harmonies in the 1st chorus drop the bait & then jag it for a fast catch. I was hooked.
Peter's playing gives the song the "just right" guitar porridge with a little touch of honey.
A country pop gem.

I don't think the lyrics are trite. I especially liked your opening lines: "I always wanted to be your safe full of treasures/But you never tried to learn my combination." Sweetly put.
Peter's guitar blends in with the gentleness of the song. A+ vocal performance!
