I called this “again” since I saw in a search that somebody else pointed out that the transcribing function of BIAB iOS is sadly lacking this function and or the existing transcribing interface is broken.
The current options when you tap on the current Key is for Transpose Song or Change Key neither of these properly change the melody notation so that an instrument in Eb or Bb can read the notation and hear the melody in the correct pitch.
I’m hoping that someone on the development team plays a transcribing instrument and will “get it” and can make this work.
As it is in the present state it is useless to any one playing saxophone, trumpet, etc. to read notation and follow along.
I used BIAB quite a bit in 2008 and after a 16 year break(!) I'm back with version Mac 2024.
